The Madison & Main Gallery is an artists’ cooperative gallery organized in 1987 by artists from Northern Colorado. Our members include 20+ member-artists plus numerous consignment artists and featured guests. We are painters, potters, jewelers, sculptors, wood crafters, stained glass artists, fiber artists, photographers and multi-media artists who are dedicated to artistic innovation and expression.
Our displays of art work are continually changing.
“Fantastic Fibers” is the new show at the Madison and Main Gallery. This extraordinary summer show begins July 1 and runs through August 30. So come into the gallery to experience what the world of fibers has to offer. There are new creations from felted sculptures and jewelry to hand dyed and hand painted scarves; from tapestries and quilted wall pieces to photography printed on fabric; from fabulous hats to wearable art of all kinds. The gallery members will have new pieces featuring embroidery, basketry, paper, and ceramics.
The members of the gallery invite you to come and meet the fourteen guest artists during the public opening reception planned for First Friday, July 5, 2019, from 5-8 p.m.
The slate of guest artists are Julia Bannerot, Connie Bethards, Sarah Booth, Stephanie Burchett, Lynn Cornelius, Karen Dietrich, Verenda Easterwood, Barb Johnson, Raquel Kato, Monique and Tracey Mullis, Ellen Smith, Kari Tamblyn, and Cindy Webb.
MadMain members work to create a calendar of six unique show themes for the year. The gallery display is rotated every two months to highlight the new theme and bring in guest artists and pieces.
When you visit the gallery you will most likely be helped by one of our member artists! All of our members contribute by helping operate the gallery. You can feel the love of our Madison & Main community when you step inside!
